A collaboration with UT Austin Department of Radio-Television-Film faculty Deepak Chetty and students studying Motion Capture, Invention in Three Parts is a short virtual reality dance film.
Prelude - 2015
Overbey’s first study in storytelling without dialogue explores the psychological journey of a dancer preparing for an audition. The film is set to Frederic Chopin’s Prelude No. 15, played by Evgeny Kissin.
